So… finding my TRIBE. Hello… is there anybody out there?

I’m an introvert and, whilst not exactly a loner, I don’t really tribe. Or I tribe tentatively and then withdraw. That’s about to change. I’m am now wholeheartedly seeking my tribe… people who want to change their habits for good, and help others change too… people who care about making a real difference to people who are suffering.

This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 6

To kick start my tribe seeking, I’ve done my first ever video post – remember in the Day 1 of this challenge I said I may even try <gasp> video? Well that day has arrived! I’m hoping that a bit of my passion and commitment will come through over video – let me know what you think!

If you don’t have time to watch or can’t use audio for some reason, here are the key points:

The 2 people that inspire me most at the moment, why they inspire me and what I would ask them if I could:

Natalie Sisson, the Suitcase Entrepreneur herself!

Natalie inspires me because she has made such a successful business on her own terms, living the life she loves. Also, she is inspiring because I am also from New Zealand.

The questions I’d like to ask Natalie are:

  1. What was your greatest weakness that you have had to overcome in order to get where you are today?
  2. And what is the thing you are most proud of on your journey?

Daniel Flynn of ThankYou.co

Daniel inspires me because he is such a motivational speaker. And because I really identify with the social enterprise model of his business – I too am committed to making a difference to those in need, as well as making a living for myself and my family.

The questions I’d like to ask Daniel is:

  1. How do you make sure that the money that you have for social good, that you use to alleviate poverty – how do you make sure that has the most impact it can? Do you give it to charity or run projects yourself?
  2. How do you select charities or projects and then make the impact transparent to your customers?
